Author Talk: Ian Braybrook

Ian Braybrook, author of a number of books including 'Gwenyth WisewouldOutpost Doctor' about Trentham's extraordinary Dr Gwen Wisewould, and 'BushWireless' his newest book, will present our author talk at the Trentham Library, directly following the Clever Towns Challenge. He will talk about his latest book, 'Bush Wireless', released in December 2015. In it, he writes about his many years with community radio, beginning in 1959 when he was one of the pioneers of radio FM 3CCC.

Ian began as the nervous reader of local newspaper items for the print handicapped, 'Newspaper of the Air'. He went on to present countless radio programs and became a popular broadcaster across the region. He met and came to know hundreds of people from all walks of life, and has a deep treasure chest of stories. 'Bush Wireless' is his story and he'll be sharing it with us.
