Are you one of those talented people who can say a lot with only a few words? If you are, or you think you might be, the fifty word microfiction (or, if you prefer, flash fiction) competition might be just the thing for you! The Fifty Word competition is once again sponsored by the famous RedBeard Bakery. Entries will be displayed at the bakery during July and August.
The competition is open to anyone.
Prize: $200.00 RedBeard voucher, (redeemable in one sitting), or used as part payment for a RedBeard workshop.
Theme - Silence.
The word 'silence' must be included in any way you see fit in a fifty word piece of writing.

Conditions of entry
All work submitted must be the author's own, original and unpublished work.
The judge's decision is final.
The judge for 2016 is Karen McCrea, joint winner of the 2015 Fifty words competition.
